Haha! Was this like the first Dave Mathews concert uploaded to UA-cam?? It was uploaded in 2007! Either way, I'm a lifelong fan and enjoy their older material more so I really dig this!

One of my favorite parts in any music ever is 1:58, just as he says ‘tripping billy’ and Carter, the bassist and entire band come out of that beat and into the new one.. difficult to explain but man it feels amazing!

These guys were at my youth group summer camp in Texas. They're every bit as amazing, live!
You know.. the years of dedication and practice to get this TIGHT.. just blows me away how tight they are. Thing is, very often you see bands where its "the job of the drummer" to practice with a metronome, as the guitars are all feeling bla bla and you often see a tight drummer and a loose band.. Im talking famous bands. But this, this intricate music where the guitar and bass are perfectly in sync, all the accents pronounced by the keys and sax, its just incredible. All the instruments are so fucking tight. They've earned this through hard work. Non-musicians wouldnt really care or notices this but fuck me.. this tightness is unreal just listen to the end bit! jeez
I’m glad somebody else understands! I tell people all the time that each version of Dave’s songs are all different because you can pick up on all the intricate sounds and notes they hit.

This song brings back a lot of great memories! I'm so thankful to the lord for blessing us with such an anthem. As I write this I pray that this song may help others as much as it has helped me! Even though I'm far from perfect and a constant sinner the Lord continues to forgive and lead me into his light.
